ABOUT THE PRODUCT

Powder content: A dry mixture based on cement with chemical additives. Liquid content: Acrylic-based emulsion polymer.

Complies with the requirements of the technical specification TS AZS 31 43498-05-2005.

This insulation mixture is used in:

Pools that permanently retain water;

Building foundations and balconies;

Main walls and partitions;

Water reservoirs;

Terraces;

Surfaces such as concrete, plaster, and floor screeds;

Areas that are constantly in contact with water before tile or ceramic application.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Surface Preparation. Clean the surface from any residues that may hinder adhesion, ensuring it is checked and solid. If there are any defects on the surface, they should be corrected with EPOSEMENT S40 or other similar repair mixtures produced in compliance with standards. Before application, the surface should be primed with EPOLATEX or other similar primers produced according to standards.

Mixing Preparation. Slowly pour 25 kg of the powder mixture into 10 liters of liquid, stirring for 3-5 minutes until lumps disappear (it is recommended to use a low-speed mixer). Allow the mixture to rest for 3-5 minutes to set, then stir again for 30 seconds.

Application. Apply the prepared mixture to the surface with a roller or brush, the first layer being applied vertically. The second layer should be applied perpendicular to the first, 5-6 hours later. For corners, round them off and reinforce the mixture with a mesh to prevent cracking. The prepared mixture must be used within 2 hours. Any expired mixture should be discarded.

Recommendations. Protect the applied surface from sunlight, precipitation, and dust for 48 hours, and do not use it in areas exposed to direct sunlight. Since it is a thin-layer material, surfaces exposed to pedestrian or vehicle traffic should be covered with protective materials like concrete floor screeds or ceramics after application. Wait at least 3 days before making the treated areas operational or applying a covering.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND DURATION

The powder component can be stored in unopened bags in a dry environment, stacked up to 10 bags high on wooden pallets. The liquid component can be stored in plastic containers, stacked up to 3 rows high, for 12 months.

WARNING

Since the product is based on cement and enriched with acrylic chemicals, immediately wash off with water if it comes into contact with skin or eyes. Do not add any other substances not mentioned in the instructions. The indicators provided are based on tests conducted at +23°C ± 2°C and 50% ± 5% humidity. These values may vary depending on the conditions.
